Air leakage test
 
We are professionals and we use the same equipment to test new buildings for building control. We use a special test fan with flowmeters  to blow a small stream of  air into the home and measure the air leakage.   It does not cause any damage and you are able  to remain in your home. Then we use our expertise to locate  and demonstrate to you how air is leaking from your home causing cold draughts  - we provide a full report and leave markers to show leakage paths. Then you can then  decide and target the most appropriate remedial action. The test is quite safe and you can remain in the house. New houses are tested routinely in this manner but older houses often have significant leakage gaps resulting in energy loss.
